WELCOME to Downey Adult School’s court reporting (CSR) program.
The Court Reporters Board of California approves reporter training
schools in our state. Since 1975, when Downey became an approved
program, we have met and exceeded the prescribed standard course of
study.
Through the Downey Unified School District’s Adult Education services,
very affordable vocational training can be offered. We will teach you
everything you need to know!!
Court Reporting training at Downey has achieved an excellent reputation
among court reporting deposition agencies, as well as the court system
throughout the Southern California area. Because of our standard of
excellence, Downey graduates are successful professionals. Our pass
rate at the California State Certified Shorthand Reporter examination has
consistently been state average or higher.
